Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity through your account.

Use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not probe or bypass security controls, send abusive automated traffic, upload malicious content, interfere with another user, impersonate someone, or submit content you have no right to use.

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or carry out maintenance.

You may create only one personal account unless we approve otherwise. Free allowances are intended to let a genuine customer evaluate the service. You must not create duplicate accounts, use disposable identities, share accounts, or automate requests to avoid limits. We may combine or close accounts used to evade a limit.

You retain rights in content you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, transform, and transmit it to operate and secure the service and provide the output you request.

Automated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review every document before use. AdaptiveCV does not provide legal, recruitment, or career advice and does not guarantee interviews, employment, or compatibility with every recruitment system.

Plan features, limits, billing interval, and total price are shown before checkout. Paid subscriptions renew for the displayed interval until cancelled. Payment is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout.

You can cancel renewal from Settings. Unless the checkout terms say otherwise, access continues to the end of the paid period. Statutory cancellation, refund, and consumer rights remain unaffected. If you ask us to begin a digital service during a statutory cancellation period, any applicable consequences will be explained before purchase.

AdaptiveCV, its software, design, branding, and service content belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active. They do not transfer ownership of the service to you.

We work to keep AdaptiveCV available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve or retire features. If a material change adversely affects a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract began or for business losses suffered by a consumer.

You can stop using the service and delete your account in Settings. Clauses that naturally continue after termination, including ownership and accrued payment obligations, remain effective.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in any court available to you under applicable consumer law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue promptly.

We will identify material updates by changing the version and date and, where appropriate, notifying account holders. Questions can be sent to support@adaptivecv.app.
